Ernst Yuan-Chi Chen is an MA student in Film Studies at Taipei National University of the Arts. His research interests include film history and theory, Asian and Taiwanese cinema, comedy studies, intermediality, and the philosophy of technology. His MA thesis examines intermedial practices in contemporary European cinema, while his broader research explores media transformation, cinematic form, and the transnational circulation of genres.
